Insights
How people shop with AI, and what it means for brands.
Shoppers now describe what they want in full sentences, to assistants that pick products for them. Brands can't see how those choices are made. We study it, and publish what we learn.
What we'll publish
Shopping trends
What people ask for, in their own words, by category and season. Which requests are growing, and which ones no brand answers well.
What gets chosen
The product details that decide whether an assistant picks a product or passes it over. Materials, fit, sizes, care: what matters most, and where.
Catalog readiness
How well independent brands' catalogs answer real shopping requests, with practical fixes any brand can make.
Best catalogs for agentic shopping
The brands whose product data serves shoppers best, by category. Recognition for doing it well.
Why not yet
Our research comes from real searches on Yaya. Yaya is in a small preview, so there aren't yet enough searches for findings you could rely on. We'd rather publish late than publish noise.
The first reports will come as more shoppers join. Until then, we'll share guides on how AI shopping assistants read product data, and what brands can do about it.
How we handle the data
- Everything is aggregated across many shoppers. No individual is ever identified.
- Trend findings don't name products or brands unless we're recognising good work.
- Shoppers can delete what Yaya has recorded about them at any time. See our privacy page.
